Is Jesus God?

Moses asked God “What is his name”, referring to God, and His response was “I Am That I Am”, or simply “I Am”, and God affirmed “this is my name for ever”:

Exodus 3:13-15 King James Version (KJV)
13 And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them?
14 And God said unto Moses, I Am That I Am: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I Am hath sent me unto you.
15 And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, the Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.

Jesus answered “Before Abraham was, I am” when responding to the question “and hast thou seen Abraham?”:

John 8:56-58 King James Version (KJV)
56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.
57 Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?
58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.

Timothy quotes the “Lord Jesus Christ” as the “only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords; who only hath immortality”:

1 Timothy 6:14-16 King James Version (KJV)
14 That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:
15 Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;
16 Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.

Jesus said “I and my Father are one”:

John 10:30 King James Version (KJV)
30 I and my Father are one.

Another name for Jesus was “Emmanuel”, meaning “God with us”:

Matthew 1:23 King James Version (KJV)
23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

“A child is born”, and shall be called “The everlasting Father”:

Isaiah 9:6 King James Version (KJV)
6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

“The word was with God, and the Word was God”, “and the Word was made flesh” referring to Jesus, the “only begotten of the Father”:

John 1:1-3,14 King James Version (KJV)
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Jesus in the book of John was “making himself equal with God”:

John 5:17-18 King James Version (KJV)
17 But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.
18 Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.

Jesus said “I and my Father are one”, and He again made Himself God:

John 10:30-33 King James Version (KJV)
30 I and my Father are one.
31 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.
32 Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?
33 The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.

Jesus stated “he that hath seen me hath seen the Father”, and “I am in the Father, and the Father in me”:

John 14:6-11 King James Version (KJV)
6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?
10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake.

Thomas calls Jesus “my Lord and my God”:

John 20:28 King James Version (KJV)
28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.

Jesus “thought it not robbery to be equal with God” but took the form “of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men”:

Philippians 2:5-7 King James Version (KJV)
5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

In Jesus dwells “all the fulness of the Godhead bodily”:

Colossians 2:9 King James Version (KJV)
9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

Paul wrote to Timothy that “God was manifest in the flesh”:

1 Timothy 3:16 King James Version (KJV)

Jesus says “behold, I come quickly”, and calls himself “Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end”:

12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

Revelation proclaims “he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him” and once again attributes Jesus as the “Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending”:

Revelation 1:7-8 King James Version (KJV)
7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
